My methodological work explores how research paradigms shape what we can know, and whose knowledge is recognised along the way focusing on meaningful engagement in research.
I am particularly interested in flexible methodologies, drawing on multiple methods.
In my work I use a disability-as-method approach, centring disabled ways of knowing and doing. I am also interested in facet methodology as a way of considering multiple perspectives as relationally entwined.
Much of this work develops alongside my applied projects. Co-design with the neurological community at ECU has led to papers reflecting on the processes and principles of co-design itself, as well as how participants experience being part of it.
I also contribute to doctoral pedagogy through collaborative writing on the early PhD experience.
