Across these projects, I am interested in how digital technologies and institutions shape the lives of people with disability, and in what critical disability perspectives bring to questions of access, equity, and knowledge production in digital contexts.
Democratic Access at Scale
This project investigates the regulatory and industry conditions that shape accessible media production, with the aim of developing policy frameworks and practical resources to support equitable access at scale.

Digital Participation and Disability

Digital Citizenship and Disability Rights
Our paper (Digital Control as Institutional Abuse) argues that digital control (the restriction of technology access) constitutes a form of institutional abuse, with significant implications for disability rights and policy.
